Epilogue - Season 2
March 27, 2020
What motivates two people from very different church backgrounds to get together and talk about theology? If you’ve listened to the rest of this season, you know the answer: unity. In this epilogue, Adam describes his and David’s friendship, how their ministries overlap, and how they reject potential antagonism even while they disagree about theology and doctrine.
There’s plenty of differences between Protestants and Catholics, but as this season has shown, there’s also shared beliefs. As Adam says, “Unity is compelling, it’s life-giving, it’s important.” Whether you’re Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, or from another Christian tradition, the goal is the same: spreading the gospel of hope throughout the world. And when we can do that together, we can truly be a beautiful church.
